I created mary helen clothing to make kids feel great, mom’s happy and to bring manufacturing and design back to the states! Everything out there makes kids look too old or is not well made. I am on a mission to change that! As a child my grandmother Mary Helen always told me that you do not want to grow up too fast, enjoy now and be yourself. In today’s world kids are told to look older, be thinner, and fix fix fix everything. My grandmothers wise words are what influence me to create mary helen clothing. mary helen clothing lets kids express themselves and feel great while still looking young, fresh, and full of life. My line is sold through home parties or what we like to call “trunk shows” This is where I bring the mary helen clothing line right to you. We can do a fashion show with your kids or have a ladies night out! You get to be experience the mary helen clothing brand first hand! While support our mission to dress kids like kids, make women smile and bring back the hand made! All of our garments are 100% hand made, quality clothing for children ages 2-12.
I (Mary Helen) started sewing when I was 8 years old! I loved using my imagination to make unique items! As I grew I loved fashion and design! I graduated from the University of Cincinnati’s DAAP program for fashion design in June 2012. While in school I interned for many corporate companies such as Carters, Abercrombie & Fitch, and Justice. Through these experiences I learned that what I wanted to do was create a brand that makes a difference to children and mothers! I began building the mary helen clothing brand my senior year in school! I went for the challenge of running my own line and today this is where it has taken me! I could not ask for anything better!!!
