M’OYO is a fusion fashion brand for people of all ages, builts, colours or beliefs.
Fusion is a term M’OYO borrowed directly from the kitchen. Fusion means combining traditional recipes from different parts of the world to result in a totally new and amazing dish. M’OYO, captivated by the idea of fusion, decided to apply it to fashion. Just as a chef combines tastes, various preparation and serving methods, M’OYO infuses non-European elements with European designing trends.
Fusion kitchens require knowledge and instinct. Experimentation with contradicting elements is a must. At the end everything matches and creates a new quality. In fashion, fusion knowledge and understanding of different cultures is at the heart of this creative design process. Thanks to that approach M’OYO creates it’s pieces without discrimination, in understanding and love to other cultures and people.
M’OYO fashion brand was created over a bottle of red wine in Poland by two creative girls, that just wanted more… The co-creator and designer of M’OYO, Aleksandra Matuszyn-Suh, was born in Poland, raised in China, studied and worked in Paris – the capital of fashion industry and has strong ties with Africa and Asia.
Natalia Boimska-Blum – the other M’OYO half has it’s own mufti cultural background. Traveled through whole America back and fourth – definitely over the heels in love with New York as the most multicultural place on Earth.
Cultural fusion is then nothing new to M’OYO and oscillating between various cultures and styles seems only natural and flawless to them.
