Jardin D’ Eden was founded in 2012 by Gifty Amanda Taylor together with a team of other designers and investors.The Vision of the house is to share with the rest of the world a classic blend of the african and western cultural fashion trends. Our current lines includes career, church, weekend, campus and luxury collections and accessories which seeks to meet every woman at their unique point of interest.
The house is made up of a team of well trained designers, tailors and dressmakers who carefully select high quality fabrics and accessories which beautifully complement these fabrics for each design. The clothes are made with excellent care and precision. The first collection of the house ” Ethnicity Mutated” which debut in February 2013 was a huge success and drew the attention of thousands from over 37 countries. In Fall 2013 the new collection will debut during the plitz New York fashion week will include some really interesting designs which will present the opportunity to women to have the best of both worlds without compromising their personal contemporary style.
Gifty Amanda Taylor is a Ghanian born American who currently lives in Accra Ghana. After living and studying in the US for seven years, she returned home to Ghana start a family. From her college days, Gifty was always known as the science nurd with a great sence of fashion. After being compelled by many to do so, the arrival of the love of her life , Eden_Victoria finally gave her the confidence and urge to share her designs” with the rest of the world.
In spite of her very vibrant career as a director of one of the fastest growing pharmaceutical companies in Ghana, Gifty finally launched her first collection in Spring 2013 with the support of her business partners. The “Ethnicity Mutated Collection” was mostly made up of clothes she has designed for herself over the years her own clothes for many years in addition to a few recently inspired designed which resulted from her now mixed cultural background. It is Gifty’s heart desire to share this classic blend of these two different cultures she cherishes equally with the rest of the world.
