An artist and musician since birth, Heather Pittmon lives each day exuding change and transformation through her work. She is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana and a graduate of The International Academy of Design and Technology (IADT) Tampa. Utilizing simple silhouettes with intricate design detailing is her aesthetic. Ms. Pittmon believes in giving 110% to each project she takes on with a spirit of quality and excellence from beginning to end. She values professionalism, individualism and freedom in design and COLOR!! “From joy to anger and love to bitterness, COLOR has a gigantic impact on our emotions, our attitude and therefore our behavior.”  Her philosophy on clothing is that they are a reflection of your inner most being and yet are the closest things to you on the outside every day—they matter. She is a firm believer that your wardrobe should be a compilation of expressions revealing who you really are. With every gown, Ms. Pittmon makes a point to incorporate something unique about the client’s personality into the garment. This is the ONE day your clothing should truly represent you.

As a young woman of faith, her gift is divinely inspired to create the essence of simple sophistication, and her vision as an up-and-coming bridal and evening wear designer is extraordinary.  Heather’s portfolio includes achievements in notable design competitions such as BRIDES Magazine’s Operation Dream Dress, E! Network’s Live from the Red Carpet with Adrianna Papell and Busch Gardens “Howl-O-Scream”, where she successfully earned semi-finalist status in each. She was a featured designer for Tampa Area Professional Photographer Association (TAPPA), and a guest designer and facilitator for Girls Empowered Mentally for Success, Inc. (GEMS), as well as a guest speaker at Guion Creek Middle School for the “Girls to Women,” event. Heather is also very committed to empowering youth through fashion.

The Heather Pittmon brand is the fresh face of the bridal industry, completely centered on accentuating the individual style of modern brides.  Lavishly brilliant designs coupled with intricate and unique combinations of color, cut and fabric are the essence of each collection.  Her signature asymmetrical designs yet effortless silhouettes remain at the core of every piece of work. The brand upholds high end standards of luxurious silks and exquisite beaded laces that continue to breathe an air of richness and sophistication.  Heather Pittmon’s uncompromising demand for luxurious design and high quality customer service are at the forefront of the brand.

Heather Pittmon is also a firm believer of diligent work in the community. With the brand’s launch of “The Green Dress”—bridal gowns created from recycled gowns and materials— environmentally friendly options have become available to today’s bride. Volunteerism and youth empowerment are also a key component of the brands success. In 2008, Heather Pittmon founded  BluOranges, a mobile youth empowerment workshop that enables teenage girls ages 10-19 to discover, embrace and develop their unique gifts and talents through fashion. The workshops are centered around reused and recycled materials, reconstruction projects and self-esteem building. The summer program is unbiased to location and environment, servicing public schools, non-profit organizations, lower income housing, and many more.
