It’s all about Mother Nature or sexy Mother Nature. I do a lot of creativity in my brand. Women and young girls can wear my brand because it is sexy and classy at the same time. I choose that name LaPainture because it represents my life. It is like painting my life. My clothing line tells a story about Mother Nature.
Fredlyne Burns was born in Haiti and has two sisters Maritsa and Marlyse – I am the oldest one. When I was younger I always wanted to sew. I find that art is beautiful. I used to go to my friend Micheline house because she is a designer also. She inspired me a lot. When I came to the United States, I knew sewing clothes was my destiny. When I met my friend Hope Wade, I learn a lot from her. Hope builds my confidence because she sees how talented I am. I went to project runway twice. Fashion is my passion.
