Markina Smith is the creative force behind the brand Katwalk Panther. Growing up in Southern California surrounded by Hollywood glamour, fashion trend setters, street fashion and an industry full of some of the world’s top fashion designers she was influenced at a young age. At the age of 9 she was fascinated by fashion and loved to sketch gowns form old Hollywood movies. She attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in right out of high school and then spent years in the fashion industry as a fashion designer, pattern maker, seamstress, grader, and illustrator.
Today Markina has taken her years of experience, a passion for what she loves most and has stepped out on faith to share her creations with the world under her own brand.
