Cortez, who began tailoring and designing fashion at a very young age, first gained national attention in Italy in 2004, when he presented his first personal collection on the Milan Fashion Week runways.
Prior to this, Cortez cut his teeth working alongside great international stylist such as John Galliano at Dior’s Parisian fashion house, where he curated accessories for four years, designing bags and jewels with an inimitable Italian style.
In 2007, Cortez was awarded the title of “the best young designer of the years” by the chamber of fashion. This recognition shined a spotlight on Cortez, beginning his path of dressing Italian celebrities including actress Asia Argento, model Melissa Satta, and professional footballer Gianluca Zambrotta.
