Founded by Dana Acosta, Fassion by Dana is a Fashion brand that is known for designing custom-made garments. It empathizes on accentuating the body’s silhouette and it is also known for having a sleek, simple, and elegant design concept.
Born in the Dominican Republic, Fashion Designer Dana Acosta always had an eye for fashion. She would draw dresses on plain paper, or overlay outfits on models in magazines. She would also watch her grandmother sew bed sets, and oftentimes take the scraps of fabrics that would fall on the floor to make clothes for her Barbie dolls.
As she grew older, she knew that she wanted to make clothes. So she began to pursue her fashion dream by attending the High School of Fashion Industries, in New York, NY. She continued her Fashion Design studies at Philadelphia University, and since then, she has managed to participate in NYFW every February since 2019.
