Christina M. Lowanga is the She-EO/Designer of Christina Lowanga LLC in the South Los Angeles community of the famous Leimert Park, where she freelances and personally designs for family and friends. Like Rick Owens, she studied the craft at Los Angeles Trade-Tech, where she graduated and was even awarded the Gold Thimble winner for her evening gown. She was also selected by the fashion department’s chairman, Ms. Anderson to assist Mr. Kanye West with his clothing collection at the time.
Next year makes year 10 that Christina has been on this fashion journey. She is always excited to show and prove her skill. Her aesthetic is to cause disruption to the industry, always taking it up a notch to add break out of her shell and serve the fashion industry her secret missing sauce.
