Astrid Apparel was founded in 2015 by Nicole Willis. Before 2015 the company was known as Diva Designs by Nicole. Astrid Apparel’s main goal is to make clothing for women that is not only unique but easy to wear. Our motto is “Your clothing should make you feel better about yourself every time you put them on!” Astrid is a Norse girls name that means “Divine Beauty” and that is what we strive to achieve in our products. Astrid Apparel has made everything from Leggings to custom Prom Dresses. Our current line is a combination of evening wear and ready to wear designs. Astrid Apparel has been featured in Phoenix Fashion Week (2016) and in The Red Tie Red Dress Event (2017).
Nicole Willis; born Nicole Tramontana. Nicole is 37 years old and from Phoenix Arizona. She graduated; with honors Phi Thetta Kappa, Dean’s list, and the President’s Award from Mesa Community College with an Associates Degree in Fashion Design in 2014. Nicole currently works as the Owner of her own company; One Direction Arizona, that helps house recovering addicts and homeless women. As a recovering addict herself, she knows the struggles that come with trying to get your life back on track. Her dream is to fulfill her grandmother’s last dying wish, “Become a famous fashion designer”. Nicole’s grandmother tried to teach her to sew when she was young, but Nicole wanted nothing to do with it. But as fate would have it, she decided that it was the right path for her after all. Nicole has been sewing for over 8 years and loves to try and make things that look different, to make the odd look beautiful.
