Minimalist, bold, and surprising do not even begin to define Veejay Floresca designs. It has always been about the modern woman. She may be evolving with the changing world, but she has always known her identity. Her looks have braved different seasons but there is always that distinct Veejay Floresca essence whether it is ready-to-wear, bridal or couture.
Widely recognized in her native Philippines and even across America, Veejay comes a long way back as far as 2005. Representing her country at the International Competition for Young Fashion Designers in Paris, France was her first big break. She then placed third in the first Philippine edition of Project Runway – making her a toast among her peers of young designers locally. Her fascination with bridal wear led her to Central Saint Martins in London, where she majored in Vintage Fashion Bridalwear. She pursued her masters at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. After being featured in British Vogue in 2014, Veejay started showing her collections during the Los Angeles and Manila Fashion Weeks. She has been based in Los Angeles since 2015.
