FarrierBell Fashions was founded in 2004 by self-taught seamstress and designer, Alex Holliman. The brand, inspired to honor Holliman’s late great-grandmother and grandmother Ruth Farrier Jackson and Tillie Bell Holliman, represents elegance, power, and sophistication.
With a strong recipe for any red-carpet event, prom, or bridal ceremony, FarrierBell ensembles are created with high-quality fabrics, details and embellishments graciously enhancing the female silhouette guaranteed to make a statement. Since its inception, FarrierBell Fashions has been recognized both domestically and internationally. The fashion company has been featured in major magazines, news articles, reality TV shows, and sought out by multiple celebrity stylists. Additionally, the FarrierBell Fashions brand has received several distinguished awards, including the prestigious Fashion Icon award.
Alex Holliman is the owner and award winning designer of FarrierBell Fashions, a women’s couture clothing brand. Born in Omaha, Nebraska Alex began designing and hand sewing dancer uniforms of local marching bands at 9 years old. At 13, without any formal education or training, Alex purchased a previously owned sewing machine, gathered up tablecloths and old sheets for material, and taught himself how to sew.
With the desire to reach celebrity clientele, Alex relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. With the aid of his brother, inspired by his great grandmother and grandmother, Ruth Farrier Jackson and Tillie Bell Holliman, the international brand FarrierBell Fashions was established.
