In addition, in Taseen’s form of art each line he creates tells a significant story in his life. What inspired Taseen to make this form of art was to present something different to the world, and to have people stand out from their ordinary clothing. Taseen Abdulbarr is a motivated and competitive self taught artist. As a ex football player, he loves to compete and wants to be the best at what he does. Taseen took a leap of faith when he quit football in college and trusted God’s plan in becoming an artist. Taseen vowed that day when he quit football, “He wouldn’t fall second to no man and give art 100%.” Taseen’s work ethic is amazing as he puts in countless hours per day on jackets and canvases to strive to be the best designer/artist he wants to be. The style of his artwork is a new form of art in which is called Linestrax that was created by him. He loves that his style is different from others and loves how his art stands out in anywhere he goes. Taseen’s favorite quote comes from Afro Samurai in which he says ““I call it a sin not to rule the world if you’ve been blessed with the strength! but the world is lost all is chaos and pain. its time for someone to take control, it’s time that a man uses absolute power for the cause of ultimate peace. It is time for a man to rid the world of conflict and allow all men and women, young and old, to live in tranquility” (Justice). Taseen lives by this quote and believes he is that man to take control and his designs shall take this world by storm.
