Wicked Betty is the brain child of Michelle Cobble owner of “Wicked Threads Wardrobe Styling” and Nicole Mabalot designer and owner of “Punk Rock Betty Clothing”. Their relationship started with Michelle’s great interest in Nicole’s Punk Rock Betty clothing lines. Michelle went from valued customer to partner while having some specific custom style clothing made by Nicole. Nicole is a self taught seamstress that always puts her rebellious attitude in every design. Each piece is handmade by Nicole and has impeccable top notch quality. Between Michelle’s work with her styling company Wicked Threads and her photography business Wicked Lens she had gained an incredible fashion sense. With her eye for fashion, Michelle scouts far and wide for one of a kind fabrics and creates matching accessories which she then turns over to Nicole to work her magic.
Each Wicked Betty piece is designed by the two and then hand made by Nicole, stitch by stitch ….with the ending product being scrutinized between the two friends until it becomes the work of art witnessed in their Fall Collection …Soliel Noir that was featured at Tampa Bay Fashion Week 2012. Their first collection aptly named Femme Fatale was featured in a Fashion segment at the 2011 Tampa Bay Chill Lounge. All Designs are custom made and span all genres, from the wealthy socialite to the glamorous housewife. With Michelle’s styling genius and Nicole’s amazing ability to manipulate fabric ..Wicked Betty continues to evolve and is sure to have continued success. Every woman can be as Wicked as she wants to be in her Wicked Betty clothing.
