Mila Pershyna and MP Fashion brand story. MP Fashion is woman’s contemporary apparel brand made in the United States, specializing in styles for the fashionable and active city woman. Each style is designed with comfort and the versatility to take your look from day to night. Featuring traditional fits and luxury fabrics, MP Fashion offers unique and high quality products at an attainable price. The clothing line is available in boutiques throughout Midwest and multiple online retailers. Mila Pershyna is the founder and CEO of MP Fashion. Born and raised in Grodno, Belarus, Mila first discovered her love for fashion at a very young age when she would make paper dolls and dress them. Over time, her childhood past time evolved into a professional skill. Mila soon began creating clothes for her friends, peers and herself.
After earning BA in linguistic Mila move to the United States and make Michigan her home where she goes to WSU to study Fashion Design and Merchandising. While completing her MA degree Mila wrote master’s essay on contemporary maternity wear, finding a need for fashionable and transitional outerwear and sportswear for mothers to be. That’s when MP Fashion brand was born. After graduating and interning with fashion legend Diane Von Furstenberg, Mila began establishing the company identity as American made women’s contemporary apparel. The goal of the company was to have everything made in the USA with high quality production. The first fashion collection was design for active city women called Maternity and Beyond; clothing that could be worn before, after and during pregnancy. Outside of designing and growing the business, Mila and MP Fashion team dedicates a significant amount of time to local volunteering and charity work.
