House of Peace Love and Violence is a High Street Brand that focuses both athleisure and ambiguity with a purpose. Our customer is a confident risk taker who prefers to make bold statements for peace and love through fashion. Our brand offers a wide of handmade high quality unisex men and women’s wear devoted to versatility. Our goal is to eliminate gender norms in fashion and to bring handmade high quality pieces to the city streets. House of PLV is a combination of two fashion brands, Haus of Klyde, and PLV, who joined together to create a brand that speaks for peace and equality. This season will be House of PLV’s first collection together as a brand.
House of PLV was founded by two independent designer with similar goals and aspirations, Markie Colden and Clyde Wright. Markie Colden of PLV is a Virginia native who’s design roots began back in middle school. Eventually graduating to releasing collections starting in 2013 under the brand PLV (Peace Love Violence). “The goal is to create a quality product. Then blur the lines and push the boundaries.” Clyde Wright also a Virginia native started his designer career in a Sculpture class in 2008 which led him to taking sewing classes,before high school graduation in 2009 he had presented two collections, won Best in Show at Vmfa Teen Stylin Competition, and landed a summer internship with design Michael Taylor. Since then Klyde has graduated from Virginia State University with a Bachelors in Fine Arts, presented collections and work across the DMV area, worked closely with other designers and organizations that only help make him a better designer.
