RBA.NewYork is the exotic feminine: women’s clothing inspired by cultures, traditions, and travels of the designer. Each unique piece is made of fabric from its local source, that represents a vision of diverse cultures together in one design. RBA.NewYork combines a sense of mystery with intricate embroidery and wild patterns.
Rakhaa Bin Ahmed is a Saudi fashion designer who has lived in 5 different countries. As a diplomat’s daughter, she grew up as a third culture child which reflects in her designs. She has been inspired by the great variety of cultures of places she’s called home: Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Iran, Lebanon, and New York City.
Rakhaa is from a family of women designers, following both her grandmother and mother. She designs women’s clothing using fabrics from different countries. Her designs combine different traditions that reflect love, peace, and unity – relevant to everyone.
