Alfredo Leija is a twenty seven year old designer from South Texas, he Studied Fashion Design at the International Academy in Texas. After graduation he relocated to New York City to pursue his passion for art and design. Leija has worked with high end designers like Elie Saab, Monique Lhuillier, Reem Acra and Oscar de la Renta. He is currently launching his FW 14’ Collection, which will be displayed at his studio in Brooklyn.
This collection is inspired by the work of artist Anne Garret, whose digital two-dimensional art captures organic movements found in nature while also highlighting nature’s inherent architectural structures. This collection is for women who are empowered yet feminine with a glamorous edge. These elements intermingle with free flowing and strong silhouettes which create a modern and futuristic look.
Leija By Alfredo Leija will present his collection in this year’s Plitzs New York City Fashion Week February 2013 hosted by PLITZS Fashion Marketing. His collection will be presented at 5 PM Friday February 8th at the W Hotel in Midtown NYC.
