“Fayartlook” refers to my family name “FAYE”, then to “ART”, all that is artistic because I’m an artist, I make creations but I play guitar too. And finally to “style”, so “LOOK” and everything that refers to fashion. The concentration of these three words gives “FAYARTLOOK”.
My company is a business called “family”, because at the beginning and so far all members of my family (father, mother, brother, sister), each gave me his ideas on my creations. I can even say that it was my father who found it first.
I decided to leave school very early because I wanted to become a footballer. Afterward, I felt that I was rather interested in fashion and design, that’s where my father enrolled me in a school of fashion and fashion, designer (Higher Institute of Fashion – ISMOD). There, I obtained the diploma of Senior Technician of the trades of the Mode.
Today I teach in this school, a way to thank them, but also to continue the work they do to help young people to live their passion and earn a living in this job that needs to be supported and to be more professional in Senegal.
