La Bella Mode was founded in 2012 by Antoinette Piesche as a clothing store and custom formal and weeding gown design store, with a focus on size 0 to size 24 women. La Bella Mode presented at several fashion shows (The last in NYC, 2014) and has been featured in several magazines. While the storefront has closed, the designer brand continues on to make all women of all sizes look gorgeous.
Antoinette always had a passion for providing fashion of less than whats perceived as the perfect sized women. “I wanted every women to look her best on her special day – regardless if she’s a size 1 or 22 – and I felt larger women are under-served with great looking formal gowns”. Antoinette was born and raised in New York, is a mother, wife and grandmother while pursuing her passion.
