WALK N ART, was established in 2006, by Philip Loving III. Flint, Michigan based footwear designer and founder Philip Loving III of his company WALK N ART is an expert in cultivating each shoe as its hand-painted with a secret mixture of acrylic fabric paint mixed with fabric glue and glitter. The effect appears like beading.
WALK N ART has outfitted celebrity clientele such as LeToya Luckett, Jill Marie Jones, Vivica Fox, T-Boz, H Town, Ginuwine, Demetria McKinney, and Rick Ross just to name a few. In 2017 WALK N ART had the honor of being a part of both New York Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week. Philip Loving III is now absolutely thrilled to make his New York Fashion Week return in 2020!
Philip Loving III is an American fashion designer, artist, and entrepreneur. Inspired by his great uncle Al Loving, who was a well-known African-American abstract expressionist and painter, Loving has tapped into a shared love of expression of highly colorful work utilizing mixes of fabric, paints, and patterns that have no business going together!
After high school Loving attended the International Academy of Design and Technology in Troy to study fashion design and marketing. Loving then continued his studies at the Institute of Art in Dallas, Texas. Nudged by a professor, Loving got the artistic push he needed to cultivate his dream. This 38-year-old artistic phenom is in love with pushing the boundaries of the art of the shoe game where it hasn’t evolved before! The rest is history!
