Regina McWhite is an American fashion designer based in the Mid-Atlantic area. She produces Couture, and RTW apparel for children, women, and accessories. She loves the art of fashion, storytelling, and social impact. As a pre-teen, she admired the classic apparel that permeated the pages of U.S. Vogue Magazine during the 70’s and 80’s eras. She collected the once “3 inch” thick print magazines and marveled over its sophisticated subtleties and crisp clean editorial looks—styles that empowered her to design, create, and tell stories… stories that are exhibited in each Regina McWhite collection. Dedicated to her craft, she is known for a look of distinction.
In 2001, Regina McWhite debuted her first apparel line; “Likorice Apparel by Regina McWhite. Her children’s collection (Likorice Apparel) has appeared in several trade-show magazines, and has sold in children’s boutiques across the nation from; Eastern Pennsylvania – St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. In 2014, she launched her women’s line (Regina McWhite). It was showcased for the first time in Philadelphia, on August 15, 2015 at a benefit to eradicate hunger: “The Second Annual Cooking-up-Couture Food and Fashion Show. Regina McWhite collections include “Ready-to-Wear” and Couture; Children’s and Women’s Apparel; and Accessories (handbags). In 2016, she will continue to grace the runway supporting such worthy causes such as; Autism, and the Chrohns & Colitis Foundation. You can expect to see significant influences of sheers, linens, cottons, and high quality knits in her collections as she flourishes throughout the domestic and international markets.
