Dorret Brooks, a woman of God, ordained and appointed first as a servant in the kingdom of God first realized this great gift and talent to design clothes from a tender age. It all began when she started to make clothes for her dolls that caught everyone’s eyes. She was only fourteen years old and in high school when she conducted her very own fashion show- in Linstead, St. Catherine in the island of Jamaica –and the tickets were sold out!!
She attended Milady’s School of Fashion after much encouragement from family and friends to pursue her ambition in the fashion world. Her love for fashion was evident through her constant designing of clothes for friends, family members and even random customers who shopped at her brother’s fabric store. Until this very day, she is still known as the best dressed girl- now a woman- from her district.
