Fashion Designer Amber Lillie started in the fashion industry at 5 years old as a theatrical runway model in Cleveland, Ohio. Her grandmother, Lillie Francine, taught her how to sew at a very young age. In high school, Amber started her first clothing line and by senior year started a fashion club that produced her first fashion show.
In 2012, she graduated from Phoenix College for fashion design and started VSLZ Fashun Group months later. Amber has worked for top fashion companies in visual merchandising, styling, and sales at Saks Fifth Avenue, BCBG Max Azria, Nordstrom, Stein Mart, Forever 21, and Old Navy. Amber’s work has been featured in numerous fashion shows in Arizona, Las Vegas, and New York City.
Her looks have been published in the Arizona Republic, Discover the Phoenix Region Magazine, and was 2013’s Phoenix RAWards Director’s Highlight. In September 2017, Amber launched a Fashion Design Studio in the Central Phoenix Arts District that focuses on custom design, ready-to-wear, fashion classes, runway modeling classes, and First Friday fashion shows. Amber looks forward to learning, growing, and advancing her career in the fashion industry!
