The undertone of my clothing line is to build women up so they feel beautiful both internally as well as externally. In today’s society I feel the emphasis is always on the physical aspect of a person while there inner self is often neglected. My theory; no matter how much make up you wear, how well dressed you are, and how in shape your body is ( although there is nothing wrong with those things ), if your inner is lacking in confidence or requiring constant validation at some point those insecurities will exude outward.
I incorporate the renovation of inner beauty, sense of self worth, and security among women through my clothing line by adding inspiring quotes in the tags of my clothing. So even if their objective is to look beautiful on the outside their inner self can’t help but feel uplifted as well by seeing daily motivation.
To give a little background on myself I come from many generations of creators! My father, and his parents are artist while on my mother’s side the art of sewing was passed down to me from 3 generations. Naturally I picked up that creative gene!
Designing clothes first came as a hobby but slowly emerged into a passion. Especially after junior high. From dealing with negative self image, insecurities, and lack of self confidence I realized that this is a common problem among many women; young and old. That’s when I decided to incorporate that into my brand!
