AELIE LLC. was founded by designer Amanda Elie-Velazquez with her partner Jothym Velazquez. AELIE LLC. is a luxury made to order Male and Female clothing brand, that acknowledges the impor- tance of the environment one is in and how it affects personal development. The designs are inspired by the designer’s culture. Acknowledging the cultures they stem from and finding confidence from that, AELIE LLC. strives to show it’s audience how to find confidence within themselves.
Amanda is a fiber artist and designer born in New York, She is passionate about psychology and the study of personal identity development. Amanda explores how the connections relate between identity and garment Amanda is also passionate about textile manipulation and finding new ways to apply those techniques to the garment in an intriguing way.
